website is especially intended for teachers and educators
in Latvia and Lithuania who are interested in issues of
tolerance and intolerance. The site contains a great deal
of information and tools that can be applied directly in
one's teaching practice. The site is in three languages
(English, Latvian and Lithuanian) and is closely connected
to a related website: www.teachers.nl.
There are exhibitions on-line, personal stories of people
who lived through the Holocaust, descriptions of life in
Jewish communities before they were destroyed during the
Holocaust, etc. Most of the information and resources contained
on the website can be accessed through the eight practical
educational units contained here.
